Concrete Jacking Serving Allen, Texas
Nortex Concrete Lift & Specialization is a licensed road-construction company based in Fort Worth. Here, you will glean a quick overview of what you can expect from our company. One of Nortex’s specialties is the lifting and stabilizing of uneven concrete slabs – also known as concrete jacking. Compromised concrete slabs must be repositioned to their original grades and elevations to avoid accidents as well as regain the aesthetics of the affected area. Nortex utilizes the most advanced technology that incorporates polyurethane foam injected beneath the pavement. The foam used in Nortex’s concrete jacking is hydrophobic – it repels water; it prevents water penetration; and it maintains zero shrinkage after curing. The density of polyurethane foam always remains intact.
Nortex’s concrete jacking with injected foam generates the lift that allows concrete panels to regain their proper positions, and the procedure is minimally-invasive. Every type of venue – from city streets to airport runways to private driveways – become permanently supported with high-density polyurethane foam material. Additionally, our concrete jacking procedures are, typically, half the expense of new concrete!
Disruption is minimal since concrete jacking with foam injections allows vehicle traffic to resume within 15 minutes. Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization has the expertise to complete projects – regardless of size, scope or location – quickly and cost-effectively.
Nortex’s Concrete Grinding
Concrete grinding is another Nortex specialty. We have perfected a process called ‘PolyGrinding’ which offers two repair solutions, simultaneously – Polygrinding corrects issues below concrete slabs and remedies faulted pavement on top of slabs. Concrete jacking with foam injections and concrete joint grinding work together to repair and enhance the soils and grind down any offset joints above the soil’s surface.
Transportation departments, nationwide, applaud the use of polyurethane-foam injections and concrete grinding. These remedies allow road repairs to be completed far quicker with far less expense than full-depth repair and dowel bar retrofit. Additionally, road-deflection tests have proven that these concrete-repair solutions, noticeably, improve the ride-quality index.

Nortex – We Address Venues of Every Type
North, South, East or West, Nortex’s concrete jacking with foam injections and concrete-grinding procedures are utilized in a vast array of settings, including:
*** Airport Runways – cracking and severe pavement settlement due to poor base and sub-grade soils – efficient repairs allow for quickly-resumed flight operations.
*** Bridges – slab settlement at approach and departure areas caused by unstable foundation soils, water penetration, and constant impact and pressure – soils are stabilized and strengthened, eliminating future settlement and erosion.
*** Pavements – faulted pavements due to poorly-compacted foundation soils, water penetration, and heavy tractor-trailer loads – polyurethane-foam injections and ‘PolyGrinding’ are, commonly, used here.
*** Industrial/Commercial – settlement due to voids beneath concrete foundations – foundations are quickly repositioned to their original elevations. Nortex’s foundation-lifting process can extend the life of slabs that are still structurally sound.
*** Infrastructure – leaks, voids, and deterioration of large pipes, culverts, manholes, drop inlets, and other structures due to water infiltration, settling, poor compaction of foundation soils, etc. – costly repairs, such as excavation, can be bypassed.
*** Ponding Water – pooling of water, where the pavement has settled, due to water erosion of subgrade soils – foam injection lifts the concrete to its proper grade, allowing for proper water flow.
*** Sidewalk Division – settling of sidewalks resulting in trip hazards – the lightweight property of sidewalks, when compared to other concrete structures, means extra care must be taken during the lifting and leveling. Our three crews specialize in this delicate operation where preventing over-lifting is critical. Sidewalks can be lifted back to their original position in as little as 30 minutes.
*** Soil Densification – pavement-surface failures caused by weak or insufficient support in the foundation soil – patching or replacing the surface pavement and the replacement of foundation soils can be ineffective, temporary, and costly. Polyurethane foam strengthens the subgrade soils to extend the life of the surface pavement.
