You Check Your Tires During the Winter, so why not Check Your Driveway?

Temperatures are getting warmer across Ft. Worth and Dallas, which means your driveway is starting to expand, thanks to the laws of science. In the same way your car tires don’t need air constantly, now that winter is coming to an end, your driveway is going to change in shape and size.

That means you might have a problem when the driveway runs up against the home foundation or a sprinkler system, or even worse, if winter weather has caused changes to the soil beneath your driveway.

If you let your driveway shift as Texas temperatures change rapidly, the damage will start to form, and get worse very quickly. The sooner you can fix your driveway, the better, so don’t delay. Unlike companies that do the same job no matter the problem, NorTex can do small, medium, and large jobs, all with their own specific results.

Dallas and Fort Worth trust NorTex to fix the following driveway issues:

-Longitudinal Faulting
-Transverse Faulting
-Water Ponds on Driveway
-Bumps and Cracks

We’re not just going to start from scratch, either.

We Won’t Replace Your Driveway, we’ll fix it!

When those car tires deflate, you don’t buy new tires. So why would you buy new concrete for your driveway?

NorTex utilizes nearly invisible approaches to fix your driveway. So rather than needing to replace concrete that is likely placed on bad ground, we’ll instead fix the ground beneath the concrete, which makes a huge difference in cost and time. If your contractor shows up with a steamroller, they’re doing you a disservice.

We have many solutions when it comes to fixing DFW driveways:

POLYURETHANE FOAM INJECTION

Foam may not sound strong, but just give our foam a few minutes to settle, and it’ll be as foundational as the driveway it supports. We use revolutionary synthetic products to stabilize pavement and ensure that holes in the ground below your driveway are totally filled.

We use foam to raise or lower broken driveway panels, and level them out as a result. When we make this sort of fix, you’ll find that your driveway concrete wasn’t bad. Instead, it was the ground beneath that was causing the problem.

POLYGRINDING

Polygrinding allows us to fix some driveways in as little as an hour, not requiring injections or cement mixing of any kind. When polygrinding, we’ll use a rotary saw to ensure a bump in your drive can be sanded down for ease of driving over.

JOINT SEALANT APPLICATION

For the smallest of projects, we’ll level off two disjointed portions of driveway, and apply a precise sealant to fix the problem area. This can apply to the driveway itself, but usually takes precedence when a driveway connects to a curb or pathway.
