Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization Serving Allen, Texas
Thank you for choosing Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization for your concrete-solution needs! You expect expertise and integrity for any concrete project you might have in mind, and our company has the rock-solid reputation that offers both. Located in Fort Worth, our licensed road-construction company focuses on the lifting and stabilization of concrete panels, regardless of application. Concrete settles naturally, over time, due to weak soil that expands and contracts. This can result in uneven concrete slabs that can contribute to serious accidents whether on airport runways, residential sidewalks, factory flooring, and a multitude of other venues.
Nortex’s concrete lift and stabilization procedure is an extremely cost-effective remedy since it is, usually, half the cost of new concrete! Our high-density polyurethane-foam injections go beneath the pavement to ensure concrete slabs will restore their correct grades and elevations. The foam seeps into the sub-base of the concrete and binds soil particles which strengthen the base material. Other benefits of polyurethane-foam injections cannot be argued:
*** There is very little cure time, allowing for traffic flow immediately after the injection process.
*** It does not degrade over time, due to extreme temperatures.
*** The process is minimally invasive.
*** The hydrophobic qualities deter and repel water.
Another Nortex specialization is concrete grinding. Our process, ‘PolyGrinding’, addresses problems below concrete slabs and remedies issues of faulted pavement on top of slabs. Transportation departments across the US heartily approve of these two methods – proven to be more efficient and more cost-effective when compared to full-depth repair and dowel bar retrofit.
At Nortex, our goal is to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations, locally and nationally. We offer more than 35 years of combined experience which caters to the needs of our more-than 100 clients. At Nortex, our dedicated team of professionals place critical importance on customer care – always!

Foam injections and concrete grinding are utilized in a multitude of projects, involving:
*** Airport Runways – cracking and severe pavement settlement due to poor base and sub-grade soils – fast repairs allow for quickly-resumed flight operations.
*** Bridges – slab settlement at approach and departure areas caused by unstable foundation soils, water penetration, and constant impact and pressure – soils are stabilized and strengthened, eliminating future settlement and erosion.
*** Pavements – faulted pavements due to poorly-compacted foundation soils, water penetration, and heavy tractor-trailer loads – polyurethane injections and ‘PolyGrinding’ are, commonly, used here.
*** Industrial/Commercial – settlement due to voids beneath concrete foundations – concrete foundations are quickly repositioned to their original elevations with the polyurethane foam becoming as dense as 10 lb/ft3 – Nortex’s foundation-lifting process can extend the life of slabs that are still in good shape.
*** Infrastructure – leaks, voids, and deterioration of large pipes, culverts, manholes, drop inlets, and more due to water infiltration, settling, poor compaction of foundation soils, etc. Costly repairs, such as excavation, can be bypassed.
*** Ponding Water – pooling of water, where the pavement has settled, caused by erosion of subgrade soils – foam injection lifts the concrete to its proper grade, allowing for proper water flow.
*** Sidewalk Division – settling of sidewalks resulting in trip hazards – the lightweight property of sidewalks, when compared to other concrete structures, means extra care must be taken during the lifting and leveling. Our three crews specialize in this delicate operation – preventing over-lifting is critical. Sidewalks can be lifted back to their original position in as little as 30 minutes.
*** Soil Densification – pavement-surface failures caused by weak or insufficient support in the foundation soil – patching or replacing the surface pavement and the replacement of foundation soils can be ineffective, temporary, and costly. Polyurethane foam strengthens the sub-grade soils to extend the life of the surface pavement.
